LIFE



Well, one hurricane is enough for my family. Of course, it seems that we are going to get hammered again. Or rather, my family is as I am safely tucked away in San Antonio, far far away. Naturally, they probebly won't get the worse of the storm, though it's going to be Corpus thta might get hammered...

And this is when I am coming into worry of some sort. If the hurricane decides to head just a fraction of a bit more south, Texas - as a whole - will be spared less economic pain than if it hit, say, Victoria-Corpus regions. Why? Simply for the fact that those areas have oil refineres and industires and other such things where as south texas has agriculture.

So, in just numbers, by all means, it'll be 'better' if it hits south Texas. Which, of course, is where my house is and where all my family is. Now, I'm not so worried about my grandma's house - if you could ever imagine a fort with with walls more than three feet thick made of concrete, thats HER house - is as well. And my aunt and my uncle; my cousins and my nieces...

Not that I am expecting it to go south, but...there's still that small chance. What I think it might do is hit between Brownsville and Corpus, but I could be wrong. Whatever the case, if it does turn south, the whole region will be forced to evacuate: thats one million people. It's because earlier, Mexico has been getting so much rain that the dams upriver have over spilt or just near tops. And for an area that lives right by the river in perfectly flat land, it's a flood waiting to happen.

So, I'm going to be a bad person and wish it go elsewhere: Corpus. Which is wrong, I know, but - unfortunately to others - my land area > Corpus Chriti's wellfare. ((Though, the best thing would be if that darn thing - Ike - weaken, but that's not going to happen.))

I made my soblins a promise to have a chapter of my manga project up by the time they come to pick me up to go home...which is around November at this rate. >.> So, I'll have to be working on that was well! And I'm finally going back to the Epic Flash after it being neglected so long during the summer time, as well as re-doing my website COMPLETELY. So expect some stuff floating around soon.
