Today was a nice start. However, it was pretty nippy, and that sure did shock me a bit! At this time of year at home, the tempurature is still about 80*F or so at 7:00 AM. Here, it was easliy some low 60s number, 'cause I could feel the freshness through my jacket.

Ate breakfast right afterwards, and then when I was leaveing towards the main buildings - where my classes are - I spotted an ORANGE tree.

It was a tree that had turned golden for fall! I was SOOOO stunned! I litteraly stopped and pointed over towards the tree and went, "Oh my goddness! The tree is ORANGE!" My roomate was giving me this 'YEAH. Big deal' look, and this other person we were walking with gave me a 'Oh my Lord, she's crazy' expression.

Why did I 'freak' out like that? Well, 'cause at my home area, our trees do NOT turn golden, orange, yellow, brown, or red in fall. Most of our trees stay green and have thier leaves (AND flowers) year round. Imported trees from up north are the only ones that loose their leaves, and when they do, it wasn't like that tree I spotted this morning. What they do at my home area is that you fall asleep with all the leaves green and on, and then wake up the next day to find green leaves upon the floor. (Then, they turn brown. Not becuase of the fact that autumn is there, but because they are... well...dead.)



MOVING ON



Ahhh.... I'm better everyone~! Yup! My fever is gone, but that desire to sleep is still around. Fortuneately, there is no headache factor in there. It has now gone towards the simple, average cold. Sneezing, runny nose; stuff like that. Good thing is that my nose is only SLIGHTLY runny 'cause of my ability to not get really sick. (And the sleepiness came from the fact of not falling asleep until 12:45 or so. Why? I couldn't sleep until 12 AM 'cause of the loud neighbors - who were playing Guitar Hero - and then RIGHT as I was about to go of towards Dream Land, my roomate leaves and blinds me with light. *_* Curses...)

But, I got revenge. Muwahaha. -raised theromostat towards 77*F that morning- -evil laughter-



FAN FICTION STUFF



BLARG!!!!!!!! I haven't updated anything on my fanfiction dot net account in WEEKS! -hits head on desk- I gotta do that soooon. -sighs- I think that's what I am going to be doing (as well as translating/drawing/CGing) these next few days. Must. keep. readers. entertained. to. give. me. reviews. >.> -laughs-

Other than that, I can't wait till seven more days! That's when I will get my answer of wither or not my parents will get me the OVA #3. Now, since my B-Day os the 21st, you know how they said they might get it for me, right?

Well, then the dryer short-circuited.

And the (first) washing machine stopped washing.

Then the (second) washing machine almost set itself - and the house - on fire.

Then, the stove's two main burners refused to work.

Following that, we have only two left remaining burners. What do you know?

The biggest one (used for cooking/boiling our meat) started going sporatic and overheats itself to a BRIGHT red. And this is a metal coil that is going redder than it under the HIGH setting of cooking. My mom doesn't trust this one anymore...

Now there is only one burner to cook on left.

Top it off with a sporatically working AC system, and you got yourself-

HOME IMPROVEMENT TIME!!!

However, my parents know that I realllllly want that OVA #3 for my birthday, so they are tryin to pitch thier pennies to get it for me, ontop of the other things. I told them that it's ok. They don't HAVE to give it to me. I'll just be REALLY happy. (And if for some reason they can't, I still have some spare change lying around that I can get it myself. Of course, I wouldn't want to resort down to that option 'cause it's money I was going to use for snacks and stuff. But, I can live without snacks if it means I get the OVA! ^^)

Only 17 more days left till my birthday! <333333



SATURDAY PLANS



On Saturday, my Aunt (who lives in the same city that I go to college) is going to come ove rand take me towards this authenic, local Italian resturant. So, I am not going to have much of a breakfast, but I am going to have one GOOD lunch.

Then, right afterwards, I'll be dropped off at my dorm, and then I will be hanging around until evening. That's when my OTHER Aunt is going to come by to visit. She lives an hour away, so they are going to take me out as well!

Just as long as they don't go to a Mexican resturant. Most of them here are NOT Mexican food that they are serving. -_-'

Also, I'll be busy finishing up my art by tommorrow...Or, at least, I HOPE I will hvae it finished. -laughs-
